HOLIDAY SEASON IS HERE: The American Wrestling Federation, Tommy Bishop, and all AWF employees wish you and yours a happy and Healthy Holiday Season. Enjoy, whether it be Christmas Chaunika or Festivus, enjoy the love in the world and keep on smilin'. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 UNIVERSAL TITLE SHOT: After pulling out what some would call a once in a lifetime victory over the American Wrestling Federation World Champion in a non title match. The man they call Ripper has been given a shot at the AWF Universal Title. Tommy Bishop told us in a press conference earlier this week that he expected great things when he signed the young man, and right now Ripper is not dissapointing. This reporter has to figure that Ripper is not far down the line of people that are keyed up for a World Title shot. If GWL should happen to retain at The Tournament of Kings he should keep his eyes peeled behind him, you never know what could sneak up on him. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 RECORD SETTING ATTENDANCE:American Wrestling Federation Commissioner Kraig Robbins sat down for an interview Tuesday morning. Many things were discussed but the Hot Topic of the day was the numbers that Madness drew in Tokyo. Robbins says that Tommy Bishop was running around backstage all night trying to keep officials of the Tokyo Fire Department from shutting down the taping of Madness. According to Kraig, The Tokyo Dome was overbooked by the Tokyo Ticketmaster by more than fifteen hundred. Robbins told me that the AWF Stage hands were busy little bees before the show, moving baracades and merchendice stands to make room for the massive overload of fans. The Cable and Satelite Pay Per View buy rates beat out UFC for the third strait month. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 CHAMP PUTS TITLE ON LINE AFTER WIN:After a more than resounding Victory over Ripper at Madness The Great White Legend will be going to London, England and Wembley Stadium to put his title on the line against one of the most impressive stars this reporter has ever seen. Ryan Magnus may not be the baddest or the meanest dog in town but his bite is brutal and he could easily take the feet right out from under our World Champ. Will GWL be able to keep the gold sitting on his hips or will The Cardiac Animal leave the Tournament of Kings with new jewlrey and a smile? You just like I will just have to tune in to see for yourself. Tickets are sold out so order it through your cable or satelite provider today! ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 AWF OWNER SUSPICIOUS BY ABSENCE: Tommy Bishop hasn't been seen on the air at an AWF event since Haunted. Some say that he has been so busy trying to find the best of the best to fill out the already sizable roster. Others say he has taken a sabatical from all on air matters, choosing to leave them to the AWF's Commissioner. I have my own ideas about what Mr. Bishop's been up to and if you ask me it has nothing to do with the roster or taking a break. The Tommy Bishop I know doesn't need breaks, his favorite phrase being "sleep is for the weak" makes that evident. And the AWF roster of today is the most impressive roster ive seen in decades of wrestling coverage. No my friends, if you ask me Tommy Bishop is setting something up. He loves surprises and he knows you, the fans do as well. I myself will most defenitely be looking forward to hearing from the boss soon. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 COLOSSUS RETAINS AIJW WORLD TITLE :Monday, November the twenty third saw the former North American Champion 'Awesome' Alex Scott give a match everything he had and more against the AIJW World Champion Colossus #5: The Mastodon. Even though he was sicker than a dog Alex Scott put up one hell of a fight, coming just inches from victory more than once. He was finally defeated by the massive Japanese transfer as Madness came to a close.. When asked for his thoughts on the bout afterwards The Mastodon said that he would be more than proud to give the young Canadian a rematch. He said it was the most competition he had had in years and he was elated that it came so close. Alex Scott was not so kind saying that, and I quote, "That fat bastard must have cheated, plain and simple. No way on God's green one that I, the 'Awesome One' could lose to that chris Farley, Beverley Hills Ninja Wannabee!" Scott's words may have been harsh but from what I've been hearing around the water cooler they may be deserved. There are rumors that Colossus used an illegal powder and oil to give him an advantage. I'll keep you up to date on that as information becomes available. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 PLANS FOR TQ AT ToK:The Universal Title Match at Madness was seconds from belonging to 'The Kriminal' Adam Faulkner when it was interrupted by the much hated TQ Smooth. Scorpion, who was also in the match is said to have blamed TQ for the match ending when it did. People backstage are saying that Scorpion was irate over the interferance, and was talking about ToK non stop. With TQ and Scorpion both on the same team in the Tournament, how will things work out? Will they be able to work together, or will the heat boil over? We've seen TQ vs Scorpion before, could we see it again? ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 REVEREND BALTHAZAR BANNED FROM AWF FOR LIFE:Nobody I've talked to is positive why it happened, but come Tuesday morning text messages had gone out all over the place announcing the banning of AWF newcomer Reverand Balthazar Infernus the third. Some say he was upset about the outcome of his match with Eddie North, others say it was the battle royal. No matter which, if I know the boss this ban will be perminant. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 BROADWAY SERIOUSLY INJURED IN TOKYO:'Downtown' Nathanial Broadway was carried out of the Tokyo Dome on a stretcher Monday after his first blood match with The Maniac of Metal Eddie Pearl. Nathanial didn't even finish his entrance before the match was over. He had been assaulted with a cinder block, no doubt found loose somewhere backstage by the psychotic Pearl. Doctors say that Broadway will live, but is at the moment deep in a coma. Nathanial is at Tokyo General, any and all get well wishes may be sent there. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 JIHAD CHALLENGES STORM AT ToK:After a hard fought tag team battle Tracy Storm and Jihad Bakir left the ring on the winning side. Soon after though it became apparent that Jihad was not pleased in the slightest with the way the decision was handed down. Jihad who had been in control for most of the bout was caught off guard with a blind tag from Storm, who proceeded to nail his pattented finishing maneuver and pull out the 1 2 3. Jihad took a moment backstage to call out his partner for that match, saying he was weak and cowardly like all other American Infidels and that he would pay for that insolence all too soon. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 JUGGALO INJURED DURING VICTORY: The Juggalo, Anthony Vaughn was seen being transported to Tokyo General Hospital shortly after his match with Darius Jermain Monday. Doctors say that he has torn abdominal muscles and they are not quite sure when he will be able to return to action. We will keep you updated on this situation as we recieve more information. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 LONE WOLF OFF TO A WINNING START:The Lone Wolf Adam Majors impressed everyone he needed to impress this week. When he stepped into the ring with Joeseph Masterson Majors had a fifty/fifty chance of coming out on top. He picked heeads and it came up. Keep your eyes on this young man, he could be something special, you never know. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 TQ SMOOTH WATCHING HIS BACK:After his interruption of the Universal Title Match TQ Smooth gave a few words to Bert Lloyd. The mini interview that can only be seen at AWF.CO.CC consisted of TQ searching nearvously for the man that he will pair up with come Tournament of Kings. TQ said that he didn't care who he pissed off on his way to the top before taking off through the parking lot. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 THE KRIMINAL GET'S ROBBED?:Adam Faulkner is steaming mad after the interuption of his match on Monday. He has told everyone since that he was robbed, he should now be the AWF Universal Champ, and according to him it's all Total Quality's fault. Faulkner promices that TQ's actions will not be forgotton and never be forgiven. Talking to other members of MDMA has lead me to believe that nothing else matters to the Kriminal right now, not even the Tag Titles he has the opportunity to hold. What will the repricussions be for TQ's heinus actions? Stick around to find out! ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009 STILL UNDEFEATED: After more than a month in the American Wrestling Federation The One Man Show Jack Marshall still has yet to lose a match. Seemingly un heard of in this day and age where the talent pool is a deep chasm of an abyss this dark horse competitor has somehow managed to stay on top of the competition at every turn. Marshall says that even though he's undefeated at this point he isn't taking anyone lightly. Marshall says that the upcoming match with Ripper has the potential to be his toughest challenge yet and he knows it. I for one hope Ripper realizes what type of a fight he's in for Sunday at the Tournament of Kings. ~Reggie Crow ProWrestlingpress:11/26/2009
